The temperatures are starting to cool and the leaves will begin turning autumn hues before we know it. There is no better place to enjoy the beauty – and the fun – of the fall season than the Midwest. Central Ohio especially is home to an abundance of fun fall festivities. Here are a few on our agenda:
Running every weekend in September and October, the Ohio Renaissance Festival is a fun twist on your traditional fall fest. This festival takes you back in time with different themes each weekend featuring elaborate costumes, events, and plenty of food and drinks. Whether you go all-out in costume or not, the Ohio Renaissance Festival offers a unique and fun experience.
Your coffee obsessed friends will not want to miss the Columbus Coffee Festival, taking place on October 5-6 at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Hilliard. The Columbus Coffee Festival provides a way to connect local coffee roasters with coffee fans from all over Central Ohio and beyond. This two-day extravaganza is a ticketed event and will feature over 40 roasters from all throughout the Midwest.
If beer is more your drink of choice, then you’re in luck! The Columbus Fall Brew Fest takes place on October 13 at Huntington Park, home to the Columbus Clippers. The event will feature over 50 breweries and 150 beers, as well as video DJ on the scoreboard, lawn games and food concessions. This is a ticketed event so be sure to grab your tickets early!
Celebrate Hallo-weekend at the HighBall Halloween celebration in the Short North on October 26. This elaborate costume party is offering FREE general admission for the first time ever this year. VIP tickets are also available, which include drink tickets, food, private seating and restrooms, and more. Celebrate fashion and the spooky season at this unforgettable event.
